Fantasticon is very happy to announce the addition of multiple Magic the Gathering Tournaments at our show.
Fort Defiance Gaming will host a “Magic the Gathering Draft” and a “Magic the Gathering Cedh” tournament each day of the convention.

Saturday, March 8 Events
Event 1
Cedh Commander Invitational qualifier
Start time : Noon, March 8th 2025
Player spots : 32
Entry fee : 20$
Prize : 1st place – full booster box of the most recent standard set + Qualify for the Commander Invitational, where first place wins a Black Lotus
2nd-4th place – 12 packs of the most recent standard set + their choice of 10$ in singles from our booth
Event 2
Draft event
Start time : After the first round of Cedh event has finished around 1:30pm
Player spots : 24 (Event required minimum of 8 people to fire) (72 packs)
Entry fee : 25$
Round: 3 max
Prize : (2 full boxes + 1 Pack)
1st Place – Full box on newest standard set
2nd Place – ½ box (18 packs)
3rd Place- ¼ box (9 packs)
4-8 – 1 pack each (5 Packs)

For the cEDH event players MUST Pre-Register via the Topdeck.gg link found on our Facebook page pinned to the top of the page. They MUST also have an active wizards account. And deck lists MUST be submitted to the topdeck.gg event before the tournament starts.

All players MUST have an active wizards account to register for the draft event.
